7 Best Witch Powers in Diablo 4 Season 7 (Season of Witchcraft)

Witch Powers add a whole new level of fun and customization to Diablo 4 in Season 7, Season of Witchcraft. I’ve unlocked all of this season’s Witch Powers, and I’ve played around with most of them. Based on my experience and preferences, these are the 7 best Witch Powers to try out this season. Let’s hope that at least some of them stick around in future seasons of Diablo 4!

#1 Grow

There’s something about this Witch Power that delights the child in me. Here are all my same minions, but huge. Even that new frog! And my Golem is the Colossal Titan now, cool… I think? What’s really great about Grow is how it gives your summons 100% Critical Strike Chance. Especially if you’re running Grandfather, this can be pretty insane.

#2 Piranhado

Everyone’s favorite. The legend. The biting, shredding, fish-storm itself. Piranhado. It’s the last Lost Witch Power you find, so you’ll need to hunt down 4 Forgotten Altars to get it. Once you do, though… man… just play it for yourself. You’ll understand. It groups monsters together and shreds them apart with tiny little fish teeth. Dang.

#3 Hex of Whispers

This one’s pretty cool — it transfers to a new enemy once the afflicted one dies, so all you have to do to activate Piranhado is get near a mob of enemies with Aura of Misfortune and get close enough to the monster currently affected with Hex of Whispers. When it runs out, Hex of Whispers cleanses you of status effects and Fortifies you. Nice.

#4 Aura of Misfortune

Okay, confession time. I like this one just because it looks cool. Based on what’s most effective, you might want to run the poison aura instead. But when combined with the next power in our list, Aura of Misfortune becomes a giant blue pentagram floating around you that makes the poor ‘lil monsters all fall over. Cute. Also, it aesthetically pairs quite nicely with the Necromancer’s Cursed Aura.

#5 Aura Specialization

We hear you like Auras, so we made your auras huge, and now they increase your Critical Strike Damage. This is another one that I like mainly because it looks cool. For Necros like me that use Cursed Aura, it also makes that aura huge, and having your aura be big makes it a lot easier to snag enemies with it. Come for the aesthetics, stay for Aura Specialization’s undeniable utility.

#6 Poison Frog Servant

For Necros, Poison Frog Servant is kind of like another Golem. It’s almost as if your Golem swallowed Varyana and her hooks. Having another damage sponge around is great, and did you know this sponge explodes with poison when you squeeze it hard enough? Hi, little guy!

#7 The Cycle

As you wait around for enough Forgotten Altars to show up to get Piranhado, The Cycle is a completely slept-on Unique Witch Power with a lot of potential. It has 2 different effects — when an enemy steps on a flower, they get poisoned. Ouch! But, when you or an ally stop on a flower, you get healed. Mmm, smells good!
